Village Services Manager - Pakuranga

Pakuranga Park Village is a mature, resident-funded retirement village, first occupied in 1985 and progressively developed in stages. The village comprises of a 40-bed care facility, 191 independent living units, 72 independent living apartments, and additional development land.

This is a key leadership role where you’ll take ownership of village services and play a central part in ensuring residents enjoy a high-quality, connected, and well-supported environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Village Operations Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of village services, ensuring everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.
You’ll lead teams across activities, catering, housekeeping, administration, and clinical care support, ensuring services are well organised, consistently delivered, and aligned with resident expectations.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be visible in the village, working closely with residents and staff while keeping a strong handle on operations.
Key areas of focus include:
  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of village services, guiding a diverse team including clinical, hospitality and administration staff to create a safe, welcoming and vibrant environment
  • Partner closely with the Village Operations Manager to drive high standards across operations, quality and compliance
  • Champion exceptional resident experiences by overseeing services that support wellbeing, lifestyle and community connection
  • Build strong relationships with residents and staff, acting as a trusted point of contact and keeping everyone informed and connected
This is a highly visible role where your leadership will directly shape the resident experience and village culture.
   
About You

You’re organised, hands-on, and enjoy being part of the day-to-day life of a service environment, supporting both residents and team members.
You’ll bring:
  • Leadership experience in retirement living, healthcare, hospitality, or similar
  • Strong operational capability and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable being visible and involved in day-to-day operations
  • Able to build strong, practical working relationships with residents, families and staff
  • Focused on delivering a consistently high standard for residents
