About the Role
As a Transport Data Systems Analyst, you will manage the integrity, structure, and usability of data within a complex scheduling platform. The role suits analytical thinkers who enjoy meticulous, largely autonomous technical work with clear development pathways.
Duties
- Maintain accurate datasets and perform routine data audits
- Manage imports and exports of timetable and operational data
- Support API feeds and integrations across operational systems
- Develop reports and dashboards to support decision‑making
- Produce data extracts for stakeholders and service reviews
- Document and improve data governance processes
- Use Python, SQL or scripting to automate workflows
- Strong database management and data quality discipline
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- SQL, Python, PowerBI or GIS experience
- High attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex data
- Ability to learn complex platforms and navigate detailed datasets
- Experience with transport, logistics, routing or scheduling systems advantageous
