About the Role
This newly created, strategic role connects finance with broking to deliver proactive analysis, commercial insight and planning that lift performance, support growth and safeguard financial integrity. You’ll own budgeting and forecasting, enhance reporting and dashboards, and act as a trusted advisor to leaders and brokers.
Duties
  • Partner with broking managers and leadership to translate drivers into action
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
  • Deliver commercial insights on commissions, profitability and growth opportunities
  • Develop dashboards, broker performance reporting and month‑end packs
  • Oversee management accounts, board, partner and Group reporting
  • Enhance cash flow reporting, monitoring liquidity and working capital
  • Support M&A due diligence, integration and post‑acquisition analysis
  • Provide analysis for insurer negotiations, fee structures and compliance projects
  • Coach and mentor Finance team members; optimise workflows and delivery
  • Ensure robust controls, compliance with accounting standards and industry regulations
Skills & Experience
  • CA or CPA qualified with 5+ years’ post‑qualification experience
  • Background in insurance or professional services (Big 4 experience advantageous)
  • Advanced modelling, analysis and dashboard/reporting capability
  • Proven track record influencing senior stakeholders with clear, actionable insights
  • Experience across M&A valuation, due diligence and integration
  • Confident leadership, coaching mindset and strong communication skills
