You will lead a passionate team committed to supporting our aged care residents to live life their way.
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday with some on-call requirements during evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate must have
- At least 5 years of experience working as a registered nurse with a passion for aged care (and a current NZ annual practicing certificate).
- Be committed to holistic person-centered care.
- Have a calm and measured approach - able to problem solve and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
- Be an effective and respectful communicator; highly skilled in written, oral, and interpersonal communication.
- Be able to build strong relationships with your team, residents, and whanau
- Have experience with leading a team, including recruitment and development of staff and managing rosters.
- Have strong organisational and time management skills.
- Be InterRAI trained.
- Engage with all our professional stakeholders to build strong local relationships.
- Be resilient and committed to self-care.
