About the Role
This is a defining leadership opportunity for a deeply authentic, faith-driven Chief Executive Officer who has a heart for the families of Aotearoa. The role requires a leader who can foster the Christian roots of the organisation while ensuring strategic, financial, and operational growth. Working closely with a supportive Board and a talented team, you’ll inspire purpose, uphold the organisation’s values, and drive innovation and growth in education and family support.
Duties
- Provide leadership that reflects and strengthens the organisation’s mission
- Develop and deliver strategy, balancing charitable impact with commercial sustainability
- Maintain a strong, caring, high-performing and values-aligned culture
- Lead financial management, fundraising, and donor engagement with integrity and vision
- Represent the organisation to corporate and private funding partners, media and the wider community
- Guide digital innovation, ensuring technology aligns with the organisation’s aims and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Board to ensure accountability, transparency, and good governance
- Proven senior leadership, ideally as CEO, GM, or equivalent
- Personal alignment with Christian faith and values, and the work of empowering families
- Demonstrated success in leading people with warmth, decisiveness and integrity
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
- Track record in fundraising, partnerships, or donor relations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with, or openness to, engaging with Te Ao Māori and working with Māori communities
- Understanding of New Zealand’s charitable and social enterprise sectors
- Experience in digital or organisational transformation
