About the Role
As Care Home Manager, you will provide overall leadership of the residential aged-care facility, ensuring exceptional care delivery, strong financial and operational performance, and a supportive, engaged team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the care home, ensuring a warm, safe, and high-quality environment.
- Manage clinical quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee budgets, occupancy, and resource planning to meet operational and financial targets.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and the wider community.
- Recruit, coach, and support a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain your RN competency and provide clinical oversight as required.
- Current NZ Registered Nurse with a valid APC.
- Proven leadership experience in aged residential care.
- Strong understanding of sector standards, quality systems, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to drive performance, lead change, and foster a positive team culture.
- Commitment to cultural safety and working effectively across diverse communities.
