Our client is an established chartered accounting practice based in the North Shore. Due to ongoing success and growth they are looking for a BAS Intermediate/Senior who wants to specialise in advisory work. They offer a refreshingly flexible and mature work environment where the focus is on providing a superior professional service. Whether you do that from home or the office or a combination of the two is entirely up to you. Bookkeeping functions are retained inhouse (not outsourced) and this is a client facing role with the opportunity to develop meaningful business relationships with your clients.
About the Role
Specific responsibilities will involve managing a portfolio of clients and their compliance and management reporting needs. This may include cash-flow forecasting, budgeting, review of compliance reporting, management reporting, tax advice and other ad hoc advisory tasks as required. The focus is on adding value and becoming an integral business partner to clients.
About You
Suitable candidates will ideally be fully qualified professional accountants and in the process of becoming, or already, registered CA or CPA. If you are an ‘accountant by trade” with partial qualifications we are still interested in talking with you. You will have a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a medium to large sized chartered accounting practice. Total integrity with a commitment to providing an outstanding professional service to clients is essential. You will be an effective communicator and someone who enjoys face to face involvement with your clients. You will have the ability to recognise commercial opportunities to add value.
