Account Executive

LG Electronics is one of the world’s most recognised consumer electronics brands, known for innovation, design and performance across home appliances and technology.

As LG continues to strengthen its retail presence in New Zealand, we are seeking an Account Executive to manage and grow key retail relationships across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions.

This is a hands-on, field-based role suited to someone who enjoys being in-store, building influence, and driving results at the point of sale.

The role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for executing LG’s retail strategy across your territory. Your focus will be on driving sell-out performance, ensuring strong in-store execution, and supporting retail partners to maximise LG’s market presence.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing and developing relationships with retail partners across the region
  • Delivering monthly and quarterly sales plans aligned to territory targets
  • Driving product ranging, visibility and compliance in-store
  • Optimising merchandising, POS, displays and product presentation
  • Delivering product training and supporting promotional activity
  • Providing structured store call reporting and sales insights
About you
You’ll bring experience from retail, field sales or account management within consumer goods, electronics, appliances or a related category.
You will also demonstrate:
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
  • A practical, commercially minded approach to territory management
  • Confidence presenting, training and engaging in-store teams
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and manage a regional workload independently
  • Clear communication skills and attention to detail
