| Steve originally trained as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, and spent the first half of his career working in this field in the New Zealand Armed Forces. He joined the Recruitment Industry after relocating to the UK in 1998 and during his last six years there operated his own consultancy practice. His engineering background made technical recruitment a logical choice for him, and he also demonstrated a strong aptitude for the recruitment of senior-level Sales and Marketing candidates. Now that he has returned permanently to his native Christchurch, he is focusing on the recruitment of Sales and Technical personnel mainly throughout the South Island. His recruitment experience is broad, and has included senior-level appointments across a range of disciplines and industries.
