Gordon Duncan
Gordon graduated from Victoria University with a degree in Political Studies and Economics. He later completed a Masters degree in Economics from Canterbury University and a post graduate Diploma in Marketing and Human Resources from Auckland University.

After graduating, he spent a number of years with what is now the Commerce Commission dealing with the development and implementation of policies aimed at enhancing the performance of New Zealand industry. A radical change of career saw Gordon involved for 18 years as a minister, with significant additional leadership responsibilities including Prison Chaplaincy and editing a national paper.

In the early 1990’s Gordon returned to the commercial world holding sales and economics consultancy roles prior to joining farrowjamieson. The primary skills developed over these years were those associated with leading, evaluating and motivating people, and in verbal and written communication.

He has a portfolio of companies with whom he has established strong, informed relationships to ensure sensitivity to their culture and business direction. He has been responsible for the recruitment of executives for large and medium sized clients.

While his primary focus is in the area of sales and marketing, Gordon handles recruitment assignments for a wide variety of roles including finance, operations and logistics, property management and human resources. Clients cover a full range from the retail, manufacturing and service industries.
