| Carl is highly experienced in human resource consulting, both as a line manager in leading New Zealand organisations and as a consultant providing quality services to business clients. Following a successful career in Human Resources Management with Ford Motor Company and the James Hardie Group of Companies he established an excellent reputation as a Recruitment and Human Resources Consultant including the Directorship and general management of a Consultancy practice in Wellington before joining farrowjamieson in Auckland as a Senior Consultant in 1991. Carl was appointed Client Services Director forfarrowjamieson in 1998 and became a partner in the practice on 1st April 1999. He has particular interests in strategic human resource management and in the alignment of this with the business vision of client organisations. Over the last fourteen years he has completed many executive recruitment assignments, as well as the selection of young graduates and consequently has an empathetical understanding of career development and the matching of competencies and attributes to company cultures. Carl’s relationship with client organisations has been enhanced by a joint appreciation of the importance of ethics, trust, confidentiality, and the quality of work. Those qualities have also been appreciated by individual candidates and a measure of Carl’s success has been the value placed on his services by both existing executives and those candidates wishing to join organisations. Carl has been successful in forging contemporary win/win partnerships with some key client organisations.
