Bernie Lyons joined the recruitment industry in Christchurch in 1985. He worked initially for a well known Christchurch recruiter and then established and operated his own executive recruitment business for 8 years before selling it and joining Farrow Jamieson in May 2001.

Earlier, he had roles at sales, marketing and general management levels with both multinational and privately owned manufacturing and distribution organizations, primarily in the building industry. He focuses on the recruitment of qualified, professional people who can provide immediate impact and results in the mining, civil engineering, construction and manufacturing sectors. He recruits graduates through to first tier executive management positions.
